By accessing gasprices.cyou, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, including automated clients.

2. What we provide

GasPrices.cyou publishes gasoline price information derived from U.S. government data, original explanatory articles, and browser-based calculators. The site is free and does not require an account.

3. Permitted use

• Read, cite, and link to pages for personal, editorial, educational, or commercial research use.
• Quote short excerpts with attribution to GasPrices.cyou and a link to the source page.
• Use the calculators for personal or internal business planning.

4. Prohibited use

• Bulk scraping, automated harvesting, or republishing of price tables, articles, or charts without written permission.
• Presenting our data as your own, or removing attribution when quoting substantial portions.
• Attempting to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, or access non-public administration areas.
• Using the site in violation of applicable law.

Search engine indexing of public pages is permitted and encouraged through our robots.txt and sitemap. The prohibition on bulk scraping applies to republishing, not to normal search indexing.

5. Intellectual property

The design, original text, and charts on this site are owned by GasPrices.cyou. The underlying price data is a U.S. government work published by the Energy Information Administration and is not claimed as our property. Third-party names and marks mentioned on the site — including AAA, GasBuddy, Costco, Sam's Club, and fuel brand names — belong to their owners and are used only for identification.

6. No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep figures accurate and dated, but we do not warrant that any price, calculation, or statement is complete, current, or error-free. See the disclaimer for the full statement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GasPrices.cyou is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or savings, arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.

8. Third-party links

We link to government agencies, documentation, and other external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
